Start Date: 3/1/2017Start Time: 3:30 PM
End Date: 3/1/2017End Time: 5:00 PM

Event Description:
The discussion panel will explore the implications of recent executive orders for immigration enforcement, specifically immigrants already residing in the country.  The panelists will also address the implications for refugees and others seeking protection from persecution and provide a historical context for understanding these implications. Finally, an important goal of the panel is to identify and explore areas for local government and community-based resistance to these executive orders, with a particular emphasis on sanctuary cities and school districts.
There will also be time for Q&A to allow the audience to dialogue with these subject matter experts.
